    lol, that was news article;)

“I hope my superiors can be more strategic in entering me in competitions. I played in so many tournaments in the second half of the year … I was in France, I was in China,” said Lin, who nonetheless praisedChoi for playing well.

in the bolded part, do you know what he was trying to say?:D

ok, i try to explain for you:
he was just tired because of two tournaments in the second half of the year. one was in france, the other at home. but not only tournaments, he had to travel a lot too.

Hmm, I think LD had to acknowledge that CHJ played well. If a player didn't play well, how could he beat even a tired LD? ;) Media reporting false things?
For the bolded part, he was saying that he competed in the French Open, and many other tournaments we don't know about in China, which might be the cause for wearing him out :D

france? but seriously, its obvious that his good results din´t come as easy as some fans might think. and it´s not easy for Lin Dan to handle expectations and pressure.

after 2005, LD losses are mostly from insignicant matches like:
LD lost to lcw in 2008 Thomas cup SF but china won the TC afterward anyway.

LD lost to lcw in 2007 sudirman cup but china won the Sudirman Cup anyway

in 2006 asian game, LD lost to taufik in individual event but LD beat taufk in preliminary and team events

    Off topic-Unfortunately..

..my memory only serves from the time i started in BC (late 2004).:( Anything before that, you should know better as i have no clue whatsoever, although i know LD had other losses.
Here are some of his other "insignificant" matches (late 2004-2005):
CHINA OPEN 2005 - to Chen Hong
DJARUM INDONESIA OPEN 2004 - to Taufik Hidayat

*hope you'll mark this page in your Favorite links for future reference.;)

one small point i didn't mention before about CHJ because it doesn't alter the match result but if u look carefully, i say more than 75% of CHJ's serve is illegal, at shuttlelcontact, his top racket frame is higher than his service hand knuckles
