yaya in my opinion she is very2 good badminton player in uber cup 2008 ..she showed the best skill of badminton ... GOODDD to beat China pair but although she lost ... but I very proud with her

Actually, I am so sad to start this thread but I think this year's Asian Games would be the last major tournament of Liliyana Natsir given the fact that she is injured almost in the entire 2017 and still not yet fully recovered. As far as I am concerned, Asian Games is the only major tournament she didn't won so I guess her determination is the factor that keep her playing until today. Just watched some of her old matches, and found this... I really like butet/vita playing style, the placement...just beautiful to watch. so different from ina wd playing style now...I could barely watch when greysia/apriani play, it really bores me to death
I feel kind of sad too to see lilyana finally retire from the sport. Since I got interested in badminton she and tontowi are one of my fav mxds. The generation of players that were active when I got hooked on the sport are my "growing up" idols so, thay will always have a special spot in my good memories of badminton sport. This is the same feeling I had when taufik, fu Hai Feng, Peter gade and some others decided to hang up their rackets.
