    5th place

China national games request all top 8 positions, therefore if there are 32 entries, all top 8 players have to play 5 matches. But Win more doen't mean higher place.

1st(Gold): 5:0 the champ has to win 5 in a row without any loss.
    2nd(silver): 4:1
    3rd(bronze): 4:1
    4th: 3:2
    5th: 4:1
    6th: 3:2
    7th: 3:2
    8th: 2:3

see, the 5th has to win 4 matches while lose only 1; the 4th only need to win 3 matches, and lose 2.

Chen Jin is not happy about the draw

Chen Jin complained before the semifinal. He said, he didn't know why he is always meet Lin Dan too early.

According to his own calculation about the ranking points, Chen Jin said he should be in the other half of the draw. He complained it's unfair to meet LD so early.

CJ met LD in the semifinal too at the Olympics. Now this national games, next, back to the international tournaments, in both Denmark and French super series, he's arranged the same half as LD in the draw. Chen Jin said clearly that he's not happy about that.

Chen Jin also mentioned that Lin Dan was not happy about that too. But no confirmation from Lin Dan yet.

The head to head records in big tournaments:

Chen Jin vs Lin Dan: 4:8

LD bt CJ in 3 games. Actually LD could have defeat CJ in 2 games. As I can watch from their match, LD is so kind to give one set to CJ. :D 2nd game is really a gift to CJ. :D LD did not smash a lot also in today's match.

Wah all players must be exhausted so they decide to withdrew from Den SS, rite?
LD still generous as usual, eh? Hehehe :p
Btw thanks @Suetyan, @2cents etc for the recap and pics! :) :)
    Good job (^_^)b
Poor XXF, no gold for her as retirement gift
Btw how bout GL/WYL and YW/ZJW?
Will they retire for good or still competing in some tourneys?
Good luck to Gao Ling for the "babies" projects, though! :) :)

seems no updates for men's doubles? Here are the results:

Fu HF/ Zhu Li Hua 2:0 Cai Biao / Zhen Bo 21:11, 21:9

Cai Yun / Xu Chen 2:0 Guo Zhen Dong / Hong Wei 21:15, 21:17

pretty much as I predicted at the beginning that gold to CY/XC, silver to FHF/ZLH! So far so good for my prediction. Wow to myself.

Chen Jin attacked too much in the 2nd game, then ran out of gas in the 3rd.
