mymy, very slow the server, and the design - never seen such stupid stuff - the link 'results' shows just the past until 2008 - who needs that? daily results doesn't show anything - guess I gonna skip that event, let it go!

None of INA players playing today (aside of Halim/Flandy) made it into 1 round...

All 4 WS qualifiers are Taipei players,

Cheng Shao Chieh, come back from injury, ex TPE-WS #1, 2004 WJC winner by beaten Lu Lan & Jiang Yanjiao

Pai Min Jie, ex WS#2 in 2008 UC team

Chiu Yi Ju, winner of 2008 Indonesia Challenge

Hsu Ya Ching, I guess she is TPE-Junior WS#1 (although another young player as 2nd winner in AJC), she played all team matches in 2009 AJC, failed in individual stopped by Tee Jing Yi in closed 3 sets. I can say she is same level with Febby Angguni who beaten by 22-10 21-19. She beat Liliane Chow in Qualifying final.

Looked like still no progress of 2 main Pelatnas players, Aprilia & Lindaweni.
Aprilia who had advantage by got bye in 1st round, lost to "unknown" TPE player.

Linda lost in 2nd round to another "unknown" player in 3 sets. Linda should learn more strategy of playing and try more offensive play. Actually she has good defence and bigger power if compare with Maria Febe or Febby Angguni but she very rarely to play aggressive (maybe any relation with her past injury ?).

totally agree with hauge..PBSI has given some chances to April n Rizky but they both proved nothing..PBSI should open an exit door to them both..better give some chances to Bellaetrix,Tieke Arida n Mazziyah Nadhir(is she well recovered from injury she got in Sirnas Bali?)

Not very promising for the Danes sending the "B" team. However the mmixed doubles did well in Macau, so maybe there is hope. Mixed doubles is suddenly the Danes stongest event.

As I expected, it's a COSTLY MISTAKE by PBSI to send Aprilia Yuswandari to both Macau and Chinese-Taipei GP Gold! For Lindaweni Fanetri, she did qualify for the Main Draw of Macau GP Gold, but failed this week

I will say keep Lindaweni, but expose her ONLY to International Series, Challenge, and GP tourneys till she's ready to progress to GP Gold and SS levels. Likewise, for Komala Dewi/Keshya Nurvita Hanadia, who failed to qualify to the main draw yet again.

The other Pelatnas back-up, Djarum, and independent players will start their journey today and I fear many will be beaten by the end of today.

    Those who might lose today:
Hu Yun [14] vs Nugroho Andi Saputro

    Gurusaidatt RMV vs Tommy Sugiarto

Yoga Pratama vs Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk -- if any of these 3 backup players win, it's a huge bonus.

Andreas Adityawarman vs Kazuteru Kozai -- tough match for Adit. I am not sure if he can beat the Japanese.

Andre Kurniawan Tedjono [8] vs Chen Hong -- a tough opener for Andre too....I fear he might lose.

Maria Febe Kusumastuti [3] vs Eriko Hirose -- a bad draw for Febe.

Luluk Hadiyanto/Joko Riyadi vs Hwang Ji Man/Shin Baek Cheol [6]

Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie vs Mak Hee Chun/Tan Wee Kiong -- I fear this might be Edo/Lingga's last chance. If they lose early again, I think they will be split up for good!

Tony Gunawan/Howard Bach vs Candra Wijaya/Rendra Wijaya -- the ex WC is just too strong for the Wijaya siblings!

Ko Sung Hyun/Ha Jung Eun vs Fran Kurniawan/Pia Bernadet Zebadiah -- another tough opener for Fran/Pia....it will be a huge bonus if they can beat the KOR pair.

Those who I think will progress:
Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka vs Hsu Shao-Wen

Chan Tsz Ka vs Fransiska Ratnasari

Wifqi Windarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan vs Chen Hung-Ling/Lin Yu-Lang -- I hope Wifqi/Afiat can repeat their victory over the TPE pair. But expect another 3-setter!

Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [3] vs Kasper Faust Henriksen/Anders Kristiansen.

Emelie Lennartson/Emma Wengberg vs Annisa Wahyuni/Anneke Feinya Agustine

Pia Bernadet Zebadiah/Richi Puspita Dili vs Jung Kyung Eun/Yoo Hyun Young -- I hope Pia/Richi can negotiate the tricky opening match.

Mohd Rijal/Liliyana Natsir [6] vs Terry Yeo Zhao Jiang/Li Yujia -- an anticipated debut from Rijal/Butet. I think they will fulfill their seeding to face Lee/Lee in the QF.

Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa vs Kim Ki Jung/Jung Kyung Eun -- facing KOR pair is always tricky and I hope AG/Vita can progress.

Tontowi Ahmad/Richi Puspita Dili vs Sylvain Grosjean/Weny Rahmawati
