    No problem...

..sure, i've no problem in giving them time/opportunities/chances..But don't ya think they have to win something significant first to be counted on as "INA's top MD pair"??..Or maybe better to be "One of INA's top MD pairs"??..(see the difference??)

Yes, I meant "one of INA's top MD pairs in the future".

Well done Wifqi/Afiat! It's time for you guys to rise up to challenge Rian/Yoke and Bona/Ahsan now!

Glad to know Wifqi/Afiat went into Macau GP Gold SF.
Even if they lose to MAS uncles tomorrow (but I think they also have some chance to win), I think this is already good result for them, beating 2 higher seeds consecutively.

Along with them, Fran/Pia, Anneke/Anisa, and Lindaweni also show good progress.

    OTOH, our MS... sigh.

Do you mean 'at least 3 junior MD pairs', Mr. Hauge?

Because if it's 'at least 3 MD pairs', then they'll be most probably no other than Kido/Hendra, Rian/Yoke, and Bona/Ahsan?

The 3 likely MD pairs from Pelatnas/Pratama:
    1. Wifqi Windarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan -- obvious choice as they should show more progress than Edo/Lingga

    2. Angga Pratama/Ryan Agung Saputra -- they have been showing very good performances in the Sirkuit Nasional and Astec. Keep them and they might just spring some surprises.

    3. Rendy Sugiarto/???? -- ???? because Rendy is currently having no fixed partner. He had partnered Mohd Rizky Delynugraha for several events (like in Astec and Sirnas Jatim). I am not sure who was his partner in Sirnas Bali last week.

I read somewhere that Rendy is aiming for a place in 2012 OG.
That's quite ambitious, but let's just wait and see.

Yes...# junior MDs....I am quite hopeful on our Junior MDs as well as MS..in XD, I heard they are still trying to find the right combination...
For WS, I think only 2 are good...still depends on Djarum girls...Ana Rovita and Febby as well as Febe

They have beaten a quite good pair from China eventhough the Chinese MD are not young anymore ( both of them are 24 )..

I agree that it is time to split Lingga and Edo...They do not communicate well like in the past for some issues...

Firda is INA WS #1 now based on 20th August WR. Her rank is #20, followed by Maria Febe and Maria Kristin at #25, #26 respectively.

End of the road for Wifqi/Afiat in Macau.
    Next stop, Taipei... :p

    Anyone can tell me #WR of Fran/Pia, Towi/Richi, Anneke/Anisa, and Wifqi/Afiat?
Their recent results should've boost their WR... Thank you.

Hopefully PBSI will give 'em chance to go to int'l tournies.
I believe Chai Biao, Liu Xiaolong, Qiu Zihan, and Zhang Nan are about the same age as our pratama MDs (their name were listed in last year's WJC, if I'm not mistaken). And here they are, already sent into GP Gold level tournaments. And they even managed to create some upsets as well.

    I finally saw them play..

..saw Wifqi & Afiat's match vs. the MAS veterans Ah Choong & Ah Lee.
From what i observed, the INA pair still needs more seasoning and match experience. Their offensive game plan, in terms of how to create more of them & shuttle placements, still need work. Their overall skills/techniques are not bad (i think one of them has a pretty good backhand). Their communication & defense are okay. Overall, they just need to work together & get more match experiences.

Since they are only turning 20 this year, these 2 youngsters are fine. I remember that Kido/Hendra only began to win titles when they were only 21 yo.

    That's a good idea! :D

I heard an expert said that Maria Kristin has to recuperate for 6 months in order for her knee to decently heal [not even fully heal, which is almost impossible]... She is [in fact] currently in a huge danger of being thrown out by the National Team due to her persistent injury...

my advise for INA WS..stop relying on MKY, Firda (since they can't do much in any tourneys).

Start giving a responsibility to Lindaweni and recruit some djarum top girls. Then For Djarum to send Ana and Febby to more tourneys, the sooner they compete in higher level, the better their skills, because i they have a talent too good to be wasted..

my opinion is that INA WS is in worse state compared with WD..
