It's not so much about the high serves, it's about the gas tank.

MAS gas tank is good for 2 and a half hard games if against top opposition. In France, their performance dropped off after the break. Chinese gas tank for WD is extraordinary, one wonders why their WS squad have gas tank problems.

Nonetheless, their achievement is creditable given their lack of physique and injuries to Chin. It would be difficult for younger MAS pairs with better physique to even reach Wong and Chin's level.

DJ/YY will win. If YY is not 100% healthy, MJ/WXL will win. MJ/WXL had beat all top WD pairs that not China pairs.

Yes,....wonder they never trained to recieves high serves.........:(

The Chn team already uses this high serve technique several time and almost 100% will produce points for them.........when plays against WPT/CEH....:(

It will be huge upset if the Olympic Champ lost to Nitya/Greysia, but it's slim chance. I guess Du/Yu have high ambition to collect WC title too beside OG Gold Medal that this pair won it last year.

    Voted for DJ/YY.

Unless unforeseen injury, China will come with usual well prepared full strength team and WD is surely in their "must-win" category.

I am pretty sure that China will take up all of the 4 semifinal spots, just like in 2006. The squad needs to redeem their overall performance after some losses and not so dominating performances lately.

The gold standard was always all-CHN (and sometimes CHN vs KOR) finals.
