Er I am not sure. The spectators (including myself) were too engrossed in the badminton action to bother about the fire
Both Boonsak and Salakjit are able to speak in Mandarin since they both lived in China for a period of time. =)
Tanongsak seems to be humiliated by the fire accident (stinky also), beside his court, Boonsak seems to feel nothing and enjoys his game. And at court no 2, Alvent-hendra attractive play get applause from the spectators...
Thanks for the info. When you said "humiliated" did you mean he was bothered by the smoke from the fire?
not 'Kung Fu Panda'? i'm wondering who is she also.. hmm, maybe she's playing under independant? btw, how old is she?
see post #73 and #74 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73090&page=5 she has short hair now and is pretty
at the end of this evening's matches the 4 badminton courts are being dismantled for tomorrow's quarterfinals.
it was reported in the local papers that boonsak was hospitalized for flu and was discharged just before the tournament started. boonsak was quoted that 'he is ill-prepared for this tournament.'
Hope it's just regular flu, But he doin' well and still on the track to win this tourney, Tomorrow against WCH in SF, while NTM possibly await in the finale ..... @Sealman, thanks for courtside news Keep 'em coming ,-)
After Nguyen Tien Minh (NTM) won his semi-final match, he and his coach stayed on to watch the MS match between Boonsak and WCH. His coach also recorded the match. Also overheard his coach calling up the hotel to extend their stay in Bangkok. Although I am a Boonsak fan, NTM seems to be in top form and will give Boonsak a tough time. All the best to both players!
The Thai players always thank the crowd for their support with the 'wai' greeting at the end of their matches. The Thai crowd would in turn applaud the players for their efforts even though they had lost their matches. The crowd cheered very hard for Nitchaon Jindapol when she played against Wang Rong especially in rubber game. After the match ended, Nitchaon Jindapol was very appreciative and walked round the entire stadium to thank the Thai supporters.
Can I confirm who is the English commentator on TV? I think I saw 'that guy' in the stadium. Thank goodness I didnt have to listen to his commentary.
no. the commentator this time is not 'that guy'. another annoying person.. who pronounce a player's name from the other way round. anti clockwise
