When Saina Nehwal played, the whole stadium were chanting IN-DI-A, IN-DI-A, IN-DI-A... I saw some Indian fans went absolutely ecstatic in the 3rd row. Some men carrying a big Indian flag rushed to meet Saina after she screamed victoriously... I heard Pak Atiek Djauhari (who is currently coaching India) cried... This is India's first SS title (since the SS system began)...

    uncivil indonesian crowds..

The crowd jeered whenever Malaysian players played. When Womens Doubles Final Malaysia against China, they were being jeered like mad. No need to mention when Taufik played Lee Chong Wei.

Despite of such uncivil crowd.. the malaysians won. They shouldn't mix political issues with sports.. but then again, what do you expect from these uncivilized people.

As expected, today we saw the crowd switch sides a few times...
    1. XD: pro KOR, against CHN
    2. WS: pro IND, against CHN
    3. WD: pro CHN, against MAS; seriously, they were chanting CHI-NA, CHI-NA, CHI-NA... and even MA-NO-HA-RA, MA-NO-HA-RA, MA-NO-HA-RA [the name of the Indonesian model abused by the Malaysian prince]... :p
    4. MS: pro INA, against MAS; LCW's prowess totally made us quiet...
    5. MD: pro KOR, against CHN
    :D

Totally agreed, politic and sport should not mix. But shouldn't have wrote such statement as well. When I was in the staduim watching the quarter final of WC07, you wouldn't believe the abuse that Lindan got from the crowd. Lindan actually look up and ask the crowd to quiet down a bit. Some of the spectators have natural build in megaphone. Unbelievably LOUD.

The Korean romantic-dramas and some Taiwanese romantic-dramas [F4 types] have really influenced Indonesian women's taste in men... :D:D:D I guess not only the INA female fans are like that, now the INA female players too?!?! :p

Nay, this time I wasn't going to take the chance of being in candid camera.

I was actually on the opposite side, high up and perched behind Gillian Clark on one side and the Indian Supporters on the other side.
