http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtubyzcPD-o Well...there it is. Quality isn't as bad as the first one, but sorta out of focus. I'm on the left with the knee brace on my left knee. Had 2 arthroscopic surgeries on my left knee. I don't always wear the brace though, just when I feel like it or I'm feeling unsure of my knee. Knee doesn't really bother me too much though, as long as I'm not jumping up and down on cement I'm good. Yes yes, footwork is bad, stamina is lacking, and shots aren't accurate. I'm starting to get back into it more. Playing at least once or twice a week now after a 1 1/2 year hiatus. Oh yeah...I lost the game. That was probably the last 6 points before his match point where I served out. I cut that serve out. Haha.
I found a video of me in a tournament three months ago of me playing a game and beating the guy 21-12 however I didn't play very well so I shall film another one and put it up
took some vids lol and unfortunately the people who turned up to training were not strong at all...so im not gona post up the vids. just terribly lazy/boring games. il try again tonight see if i can capture some decent jump smashes/backhand clears etc etc see how things look and hopefully il have some decent footage to show
hehehehehe Tomorrow is Saturday and I am playing so I shall film then, in the mean time I shall post this video once I figure how to upload it onto mediafire I warn u though even though the score was 21-12 I played rubbish so it would be unfair to judge me on this performance I might just leave It to tomorow and load a good one!
hey is it just me but the guy in blue shirt seems even taller than you. Netherlands is good at producing tall men.
well, it might be perspective, but also I bend through my knees a lot more than he does. we measured after the match, he's 1.97 and I'm 2.00m
Going through some old hi8 tapes and bumped into this. I'm the guy ... behind the camera . I think this is from 4 years ago by now. Recording a session for a friend, never used this in the end (to analyze) and before yesterday had never seen it back myself nor has anyone else ... Maybe next season I will be on the other end of the camera again (depending on my elbow). Practice started with 1 set 2 on 1, took about 15 minutes; this is a drill about 30 minutes into the session (only a short piece cut out) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pplzQJKuF0&feature=player_embedded
Wow, i m only 1.61m ... I really wanna try to play with you guys.. And I bet its gonna be looks like an adult vs a kid (darn i m short :crying
Nice video demolidor, but I want to ask how is the smash being fed to your backhand. Since everyone likes to compare I've found a short video of my team playing badminton; here I am at 0:16, and 0:38. Brings back good memories! Me playing for a University tournament
A quick video of me doing a jump smash, was wondering if anyone could correct my technique since I don't have a coach. I'll see if I can record an actual game on wed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3oJmdsKeTg&feature=channel
My friend's backhand . This is probably the best way to see it: http://player.nos.nl/index.php/media/play/tcmid/tcm:5-502295/ In the vid I put up instead of from on top of a box/chest/apparatus it's like done by the girl @ 1:11 (but still with a 2nd person feeding). To be fair to the rest of us he's still ranked in the top 500 despite only appearing in 5 international tournament over the last 2 years.
Darn it...who is that guy? if it's mr Stephan, which I think it is...judging by his relaxed stance All I can say is that no matter how hard we train, we'll never get his natural talent
