as an Indonesian, i should support Indonesia players. And in fact, Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan are better compared to the Korea pair.
    Jia you.. [IMG]

I think he is in his province team now because last year December, he suffered an injury when competing in the internal competition(for promotion to 2nd team). That's why he is not chosen to the 2nd team.

On normal day, Markis/Hendra should have no problem dealing with this new KOR pair, but never underestimate the power of the infamous Korean Line judges......

In football, I still remember how Korea went until semifinal when Korea hosted World cup 2002 with Japan.. The Referee gave much advantages to Korea team, especially against Portugal, Italy & Spain..
so it's almost similar condition in badminton..

None of the up and comers have a complete game like WZM. Here are the remaining chances for the others to establish themselves before WZM succeeds LD.

WYH's loss may be very costly. A BAC win will almost guarantee her a spot at the WC. Now, it is up to LYB.

We know that LL and WL are in. XXF is mostly in. Either the defending champ or the hottest player right now will not play the WC.

    Hmm..

..my sadness has grown even more, esp. after witnessing the display of XXF in the WS Final...:(
..personally, i'll choose the hottest-playing player. Talk about XXF tanking it in the WS Final..

I was a little annoyed with that. Is she the new HH (yoyo) of the women's game?

XXF gave it all in the semi-final match against WYH. Given WYH's top notch endurance level, it is a minor miracle that XXF pulled it off in three games.

The final performance was a bit ugly but understandable. If ZL showed some signs of weakness, XXF may be able to step up more. But ZL was solid and in superb form. The end result is not debatable but yes, the process could have been better.

It would be very unreasonable to keep out the defending World Champ and newly crowned Asia Champ who did it the hard way by beating ZM, WL and XXF.

Based on recent performance, WL has done little since her big run last year. But WL is LYB's designated one. So...

XXF? Would LD tank it in protest? Or mad enough to be off his game?

LL is young and has not done much since the Olympics. Could she be the victim?

    Off topic-So..

..i guess the 3 WS players to represent in the SC will go to:
    1. XXF (veteran status)
    2. ZL (current WC & Asian Champ)
    3. WYH (hottest-playing player)

If they want to add 1 more, i think they should have a round-robin, duke it out style matches between JYJ, LL and WL.
