the players should be rookie ones...not establish players...
Players like JYJ is too old to be watched or LYD/JJS,LD or LCW...all are established ones...or KKK

    ...

..ideally the names should be up & comers/rookies/juniors, but they can be established/semi-established players, sure...:)

    Mens Singles
LD and LCW should still be expected to be the best 2.

    Womens Singles
Hope that SN could do it for IND.

    Mens Doubles
It's the arrival of the MAS's Fuzzy pair, I hope.

    Womens Doubles
Could WPT/CEH continue with their momentum?

    Mixed Doubles
NW/LN should be able to maintain their top position, I think.

Only one adrenalin-pumping match to watch for 2009 :

    LD vs LCW

The others will be supporting casts.

    Men's Doubles
Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen -- the dark horse for the AE and WC this year for sure; and one pair that every pair wants to avoid in the early rounds.
Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan -- has risen to all-time high of WR#11. But they still need more consistency and playing hours against the top pairs.
Cho Gun Woo/Yoo Yeon Seong -- WR#17 now and KOR's no 2 pair at the moment.
Fang Chieh-Min/Lee Sheng-Mu -- I have always liked this pair when I first started noticing them in late 2007. They are now WR#20 and have notched a shocking upset over the Olympics and World Champions in the KOR SS.

    Women's Doubles
Chien Yu-Chin/Cheng Wen-Hsing -- the TPE pair is back with a vengeance and is now World no 1 after 2 solid tourneys.
Meiliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa Irawati -- has risen to WR#10.
Cheng Shu/Zhao Yunlei -- they will be CHN's top pair in the near future.
Yao Lei/Shinta Mulia Sari -- Eng Hian's protege is rising up the ranking table almost unnoticed....they are now WR#15. With more match experiences against the top pairs, they should rise at least to top 8.

    Mixed Doubles
Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati -- has risen to WR#11.
Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen -- has risen to WR#6, getting increasingly hard to beat and will be able successor to Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl.
Songphon Anugritayawon/Kunchala Voravichitchaikul -- has risen to WR#10...and should be taking over Sudket Prakamapol/Saralee Thoungthongkam as Thai's no 1 pair soon.
Xu Chen/Zhao Yunlei -- quite possibly, this will be one of CHN's future top XD pair alongside He Hanbin/Yu Yang.

I am expecting one of these four to excel.......Arif, CWF, DL and TCS......

but i still feel they are still one notch lower compared to ATedjono, HJH and some IND new comers......
