The check went to Wai Yan Association which is a non-profit charity organization. The members of Wai Yan Association are all ex-Miss Hong Kong includes this lady in the picture who was Miss Hong Kong and also a TV celebrity. The money of this check came from an auction for "Playing double in the stadium of Hong Kong Super Series and Partner with Zhang Ning for 5 mintures". The gentlemen in red paid close to U.S.40,000 for this honor..:) The guy in green is a famous director and comedian in Hong Kong, his partner is also an ex-Miss Hong Kong and TV artist.

There is a delay from pressing the shutter to taking of the photo. It was really bad the 2nd day I was there and also inconsistent i.e. sometimes it is there, sometimes it is bad. Even occurred outdoors when the lighting was good,

..you forgot to add "and bring your weapons"...;)

Btw, Cheung, were you really looking up & pointing your camera/lens @ Thomas Laybourn when you took his pic??..were you sitting down or lying flat on your tummy or in a different pose??..

that's the common problem of 10,20,30D! that means the life of the electronic shutter release is almost over.
i m glad to know kwun will be here next year and we should hold a gathering once again. ah........one more thing! east asian games will be held in hk next year too. therefore, you will be able to have more chance to take badminton photos in 09.:D
