Hey I think I non-intentionally found out the answer to the cheapest ticket problem. Go see this video on youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCCPX6dnHKs ,it's the HK Open 2007, at 4:27 onwards for a few seconds, and at 6:11, you would notice the highest row of spectators isn't too far away from the court. Do you think so too?
Hmm... are there seating plans for the venue anywhere? From the website it wasn't clear how the prices mapped to seats. I'm going to be HK luckily during that week and am wondering if it's worth it getting the cheap seats and taking in some of the games. Tips anyone?
The cheap seats are the first to be sold out! Also the cheapest seats are the ones that are furthest away from the court. Actually, that stadium only holds 3000 seats. So, you can still get very acceptable views from the cheap seats. I would also say that if you 'happened' to be in HK coincidently, then get yourself down to the arena because you never know when your next chance may turn up....
^^No more..^^ ..shopping spree invitation, Cheung??..All those electronic gadget stores (in Kowloon area) & clothing stores (Tung Choi street/Women Street/Ladies Market) are waiting for customers, ya know??.....Gotta bring them souvenirs back home, right??...
suggestions anyone? hello everyone! im jenn. im planning to go to HK for the super series. can anyone recommend a cheap hotel or guest house near queen elizabeth stadium. im really in a TIGHT budget.hehe thanks for the time.
will be getting the tickets tomorrow!!! will be attending the HKO on 26~27, evening session on 28, semi finals (both sessions) and of course the finale!!!
the problem is that my colleague will be making the purchase for me he already has over HKD$5000 worth of orders!! you will be coming over yes? it will be good to see you!!
YES.........I will be there.......most of INA players are coming with no coaches....except Djarum club's players...
The purchasing of tickets online stressed me out completely! >.< There was a limit of 15 mins for each transaction and I had 9 tickets to buy! I only managed to complete my purchase on my second attempt. :crying:A lot of tickets for the finals were sold out as well! Eeks. I was so traumatised. But I'm glad I got the tickets eventually.
Just purchased tickets for the 26th and 28th.. But the thing is, since it's gonna be delivered to my house (Indonesia), is it going to arrive on time? I'm gonna call them tomorrow.. This is frustrating. Many has been sold out!! >.<
my friend went and bought his yesterday morning and lined up 5th. he didn't get the ticket he wanted...apparently this year is quite hard to buy for some particular reason...
Just purchased my tickets for the Quarter-Finals online at www.urbtix.com For those of you still looking to buy tickets, the Finals are sold out and Semi-Finals is close to sold out.
When I went to the box office 2 hours after the ticket sale began, all finals tickets were sold out. And indeed, the cheap tickets of other days got all sold out. Anyway, I am happy with my quarter-final night ticket. Hope to have fun on that day watching the pros play.
Ar, and nice to hear the INA players are coming even if they have to pay for themselves. In fact, what is the attraction to the HKO for the INA players? 'Cause HK is not too far away? Prize money? The chance to compete with chinese players as we don't see chinese players joining super series matches much after olympics? Or is it a routine to play in HKO so they just can't miss it?
I still can't believe how fast they sell out. I even had to buy the more expensive one for the QF because the cheap ones are sold out already! ;p
