yeah..its true they're not going...but isnt the reason is about the visa... Danish Embassy's litte bit strict this time.....and also welcome to the forum.......
well, thanks that a nice of you. yeah, I am not really sure though, but I read that info from Indonesian newspaper. Anyway, they're still going to France open, right? Hope, they can give the best of them
yeah!!! what has happened here? Is there any official news as to why the change was made!? I'm more than a little disappointed. I really like this pair.
i saw that cai yun was paired with xu chen and fu with someone else... for the denmark tournament! Can they change that? I saw it posted on tournamentsoft.
If Taufik is present, it will all revenge matches from round 1 (vs WCH) to round 2 (vs JP) for him and perhaps until QF (vs BCL). Very interesting!.
The new partnerships are meant to bring the standards of the young players to the World Class level faster. More like what Team INA is doing with their XD pairs, mixing and matching the senior players (Flandy Limpele and Vita Marissa) with the younger players (Mohd Rijal and Greysia Polii), with the hope that these young players can mature faster. It seems to be working as Mohd Rijal won his first title in the Japan Super Series last mth.
mmm....yeah, i understand the reasoning, but i don't like it much. I really enjoy watching them play together. It's like seeing a cute couple break up and start then they turn to crack...kinda...
It's likely to be temporary. LYB's Maths is very good.By scratch pairing, the separated young MDs get into the main draw instead of slogging together through Qualifying and maybe not making the main draw.Besides, scratch pairs have an advantage, judging by the many upsets so far. Once the 'new' ones chalk up enough ranking points on their own to get straight into main draw, cai and fu may double up again. Time will tell.
A redraw on the eve of Denmark Open SS 2008 would be best . So many withdrawals of seeded players, namely; MS Lee Chong Wei [1] Bao Chunlai [3] Taufik Hidayat [8] WS Xie Xingfang [1] Pi Hongyan [6] Wong Mew Choo [8] MD Shintaro Ikeda/Shuichi Sakamoto [7] WD Du Jing/Yu Yang [1] Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir [2] Kumiko Ogura/Reiko Shiota [3] Aki Akao/Tomomi Matsuda [8] XD Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir [1] He Hanbin/Yu Yang [2] Perhaps the best thing to do now is to have a redraw as suggested: click here .
