You thought the 77 3U was hard to move?

77 3u is easy to manoeuvre. Easy to defend and smash. Loved it till I switched from voltric force Ld to the 773u. I thought the 88d 3u will be like the 77 3u. For me it’s harder to smash while the defense and the manoeuviribility is very similar.

My sincere apologies if I sounded confusing. I was writing that post at 5am Australian eastern standard time.

That's alright, I've heard some people call the racket too sluggish for their tastes. I've found it pretty easy and fast to move, so it's always interesting to hear people's feedback.

Totally agree with you. 3 friends tried the racket and they all asked me to put an order in for it on the spot. My stringer was so happy cos he din need to do any marketing on the racket do you own one? If so which colour?

    I have the 3U 77 in blue.

I'm tempted to stick Li Ning No.1 in it and see how ridiculous it can be.

All I'm saying is, if it hits that hard with No.5 (.69mm string) in it, it should be kind of ridiculous with No.1.

I also have a pack of aerosonic...

I’m so interested to know how it feels. A friend of mine string Aerosonic at 28lbs. Broke it after the 2nd game. The sound of his smash felt like the racket is gonna break. He’s a very strong dude because he works in construction.

I'm not a chronic string snapper ;) I usually cut before it breaks anyway. So far the only strings I've snapped are 66UM, BG85, and R4X 110.

I dunno what tension to use, I used 23 for No.5 because it's cold in one of my regular halls. Maybe 23-25 somewhere.

I have it in yellow. I had a 774u blue but I gave it to my wife. She’s learning to play so it will be a good racket for her

You mean 33-35. Jkjk. What do you usually pull on no. 1?

Icic. My fren uses bg65 now and he complains all the time that the strings are weak. So he uses mine for now. I have mine strung at 27lbs with 66um and he’s enjoying it

Well that's BG65. Cotton wool string bed but the strings never go.

Highest I've played with was 30x32, but that was a reliably warm hall. One of my halls is basically 2 layers of corrugated metal with some foam between them. Freezing at the moment.

    BG65 being too weak? That's a shocker :p

What's your usual adjustment for cold inclement weather?

She’s getting the hang of it and by the looks of it she likes the racket So far she learning to do clears from mid court with her coach. But a lot of the shuttles goes out when she hits the sweet spot at full strength at 3/4 of the court from the net. She was surprised herself cos she has never done that before when we hit together last year.

Pssshhhhh... I dunno. I haven't played using my right arm for a couple of years, so at this point there is no usual adjustment

Woo :D getting the pronation down

According to him, he has no problem in Malaysia with that string. But here in Brisbane he says it lacks power. Maybe the atmosphere here in Australia is different compared to msia? That’s the only conclusion I can come to. but his smashes are still deadly though. If he does a net kill I usually get out of the waygot smashed in the back of the head once by my partner and the scar is still there after 8 years
