Dear Badminton fans : I am looking for a good badminton stringer in Singapore . I am quite disappointed lately that my new recent racket brand new string already got paint chip .I am also recommended by Mr Alvin that he is a good stringer , ya i will go to him for my next restring session. For new rackets eg Victor and Li ning high end for string tension 28-30, who do u guys recommend ? Please advise !Thanks

Hi Fans : Anybody heard of Melvyn of MB Badminton stall at Bishan . I heard Melvyn Tan (Member of China Racquet Stringers Association). How true is it , how good is his stringing , anybody string with him before, can share your experience ?
Today , i string my new BS12N, i am satisfied with Chris stringing . No paint chip after string . I am happy with Him, Rating for him today 8.5/10!
I used to have my rackets strung by Melvyn of MB Badminton at Bishan 5 years ago. Will never go there again. Pretty bad experience. Stringing service was so bad that my precious ti-10 (1st Gen) and Cab-20 frame broke after just a few warm-up strokes and a game. No miss hit at all. And definitely no crack. I remembered the feeling when I was warming up with some strokes, the racket string tension was unusually extra tight and stiff.

Usually I string for myself 28-30lbs using drop weight machine, no paint chip after. You may hand me your racquet if you want. I stay at Ang Mo Kio.
I got no issue with Melvyn's stringing skills. I guess you fit a Lambo engine into your suzuki swift, that's why it broke. Perhaps, could be your super old age ti10 1st gen and CAB20 is one of the reason too.
Alvin for sure is good. He is located at Kent ridge MRT. And I would like to recommend u Alan. His number is 98595386 Both stringers do not give cross strings. They shall start stringing by empty frame. Unlike industry method, they put on the string and tighten it one by one. that is time consuming, but gives much better feelings while playing. Both of them have good skiils.
The best so far, but due to covid-19 he is not stringing for a while. Anyone knows someone as good as him?
