GR334 compare with AC402DX ? if it's feel the same now i might go for GR334. AC402DX too expensive to used.
DX is made in Japan? You so atas.. GR334..Thinner. Soft. Harder to wrap. I'm an expert already ha! Just bought another 40 in. AC402 is thicker. TB going for 3 dollars plus SGD. GR338 thickest. Friend tell me it's thicker than Yonex 402. I never tried it though. Going for 95 rmb (20 sgd) per reel, wraps about 15 I heard. All prices exclude shipping. But it's cheap if you consolidate things to buy. Hmm just saw Yonex reel on. About 60Rmb Search for AC402EX-30
AC402EX I know it's thicker. but AC402DX it's thinner, around 1.13mm. GR334 even thinner ??? or it's thinner than AC402EX not DX ?
Haha. Thanks bro. But as i know AC402EX it's thicker and comes in big roll. AC402DX it's thin and about 2 layer of overgrip thickness, but made in japan and only single packing doesn't comes in roll. I assume GR334 the same thickness with AC402DX. But GR334 not as soft as AC402DX previously. Not sure about the quality if GR334 change their production formula might make a big change here. perhaps i can source something similar and cheaper than AC402DX.
I'm currently trying to get hold of some GR334 but they seem to have completely disappeard from all the know shops. May I ask where you got yours from? I have given the 402DX a try and so far it's the first towel grip that I do like. Thin, flexible and easy to wrap and provides decent grip even with dry hands. Could be an alternative to my usual RKEP G10 for the warmer months of the year... if there wasn't the bold price.
Same here. Looking for thin towel grip, preferably on a reel and affordable. Only one I found was Yonex's 402DX on MBS. But judging from your latest pictures of your racket collection you have given up on thin towel grips?
I'd suggest going for DX from rakuten instead. For around 10 ish packets it's relatively affordable and works out much better. Depends on the shipping fee as well I suppose since you're a bit more distant from them.
I just can't seem to make towels work for me permanently. That last trial with the 402DX ended with a JS10 flying across the court, missing my partner by inches and landing in the net. And that was that then. Guess my hands are just too dry for towels, even in summer. And I really don't want to start with grip powder. G10 for life!
I don't know... I found it on Rakuten and it's indeed affordable, but I don't know about shipping costs yet and I might as well have to pay customs.
I've never had to pay customs ever for such small products. Shopping cost shouldn't be too high either just check in the Japan EMS section
Do you live in Europe? Just asking out of curiosity because you don't seem to know how anal it is to get stuff into the EU from Asia Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
No I don't. I've actually never had any issue at all despite the amount of importing I do for strings, bulk grips and whatnot. Probably just jinxed myself and the new racket will have some issues at the customs for sure.
Thought so. Asia to Asia generally has no issues at all. It depends on your local customs laws as well of course. EU however is very anal about imports. I don't know the exact specifics of anything but reading all the gripes from our friends here on that continent gives a good gist of how hard it is to enjoy badminton there on the gear aspect of the sport. Well said. I just had to pay around 10 EUR import tax for my latest Eric-order - a couple of grips, cheap strings and socks. The 10 EUR wouldn't bother me that much (I knew that the order was above the tax-free import limit), but more so the fact that the packages has spent more than 3 weeks in customs clearance. And most likely it cost them ten times the money to investigate the value and put together the paperwork that came with it.
Just made our local Ashaway dealer order a roll of towel for me. I hope to god it turns out as thin as depicted in the earlier pages.
Oh boy... don't know if the rolls are as thin as the singles... In fact, I think their rolls are pretty much Yonex EX or Victor 1025.
