    2 good Mens Singles matches to follow could be;

    (1) Chan Kwong Beng (MAS)-vs-Lukas Schmidt (GER)
    (2) Andre Kurniawan Tedjono (INA)-vs-Valeriy Atrashchenkov (UKR)
    .

Tine struggled in the 1st set against unknown Ragna, barely scraped thru 26-24 before winning 21-11 in the 2nd,once again confirming my belief that Tina has the hardest-hitting smash but lacks consistency and accuracy in her attacks coupled with a somewhat sluggish, irresolute defense.

I think Tine has slowed down, by quite a bit. Doesn't help when she has a number of long term injuries one after another.

It looks like Sapsiree Taerattanachai will be defeated by Sayaka Sato [5].

Oh, my PAW points gone.:eek::eek:

Hardworking Sayaka Sato, reminiscent of Yip Pui Ying, dropped the 1st set and took the next two against Sapsiree, another promising upstart from Thailand.

What is happening to the Linda Zechiri (BUL)-vs-Agnese Allegrini (ITA) match?

I PAWed for Linda - I think she will win.

In tomorrow's four QFs,perhaps only Sayaka is expected to have an easier time vs Linda Zechiri, while the other three are tougher matches : Juliane Schenk-Petya Nedelcheva, Li Xuerui-Eriko Hirose(probably the toughest match),Tine Baun-Yao Jie - The battle hots up.

Yes. Linda Zechiri defeated Agnese Allegrini 21-23, 21-17, 21-10 in a long 73-minutes match.

She did,the only unseeded player in the QFs,thanks to Liu Xin's withdrawal, but I'm afraid she will have a hard time facing Sayaka.

I think you are right; Linda could be too tired to face Sayaka tomorrow.

Looking at the draw,if Wang ZM doesn't win the title here, I don't know what future he's got. Apparently,IMO,only Marc who barely made it past another CHN newbie Chen Yuekun, could stop him;still,my bet is on Wang.

Without the benefit of TV telecast, not necessarily live, showing the game from different camera angles, the clarity, perception, excitement and enjoyment of watching the match is sorely lacking, alas.

Oooh, thanks so much. At least I get to see the new Princess, Li Xuerui(one of three together with Ithanon Ratchanok and Tai Tzu Ying) in action.

HHB/BYX having all sorts of problems with Blair/White. Finally leading 18-4 in the rubber.

Blair/White catches up to 19-20... agonizingly close but the CHN pair slams the door shut on them.

    HHB/BXL win G3 21-19
