anybody tried this shoe?

i tried them during a shoe fitting. To me it looks better than shb92, cheaper than 92 too. It is a good basic shoes. I know someone who wrecked 3 pairs of shb92 before trying the 65ex. He said he like it the 65ex. I don't think it has the power cushion tho.

Mongoose has it! It's quite a good pair of shoes I believe. Well at least the grip of the shoes are definately way superior than the AR versions and it supposedly doesn't have the power cushion thingy.

But I've not seen him wearing it for quite some time now. Hmmm.... I think he's spoilt for choice with so many pairs of shoes to choose from, including the SHB 95low and SHB 90EX. He has at least 6 pairs of shoes I believe!

as compares to which AR? 92 or 95?

My "brief" shoe reviews:

SHB95Low:
Close to ground. Excellent grip (sole), arch and heel support. Lightweight. Just sufficient cushioning.

SHB90 (2 pairs):
Close to ground. Excellent grip and heel support. Lightweight. Wide forefoot area (but still provides good arch support). Slightly lesser cushioning than SHB95Low.

Gosen SB330:
Close to ground. Little cushioning. Not so good grip. Lightweight. Very good heel support. Too loose at the arch area (not enough support).

SHB92EX:
Slightly higher off the ground. Alot of cushioning. Excellent grip. Lightweight. Excellent heel support. Not so good arch support (too tight for me!).

SHB65EX:
Hardly any cushioning. Heavy. Very good grip. Bad arch and heel supports.

Adidas Downroar:
Very close to ground. Hardly any cushioning. Bad arch and heel supports. Lightweight. Not so good grip.

i inspected a downroar yesterday. I didn't like it at all. It did not met my minimum requirement.
