There're probably many threads on shoes already but I'd like to start a survey of your best badminton shoes. Here's my vote:

Nike Multicourt III - best so far
They're really comfortable, sturdy, and have great lateral support.

Puma GV Special (suede top) - first runner-up
They are very comfortable and have a springy feel, and very attractive.

I've also tried Hi-Tec Adrenalin several times. They are comfortable and light but these shoes have a lot of problems (maybe that's why Hi-Tec has discontinued them):

- the sole is too thin, I could feel every impact and developed blisters quickly
- somehow the sole is not only thin, it tapers inward instead of giving wider lateral support, which I'm pretty sure contributed to my ankle sprain.  :o

I think its about time to revive this thread...
what shoes are using now? How do you like it?

Asics, they are good shoes for support and absorbing viberation...

Asics Floaters... really nice shoes and more durable than I had expected. They're definitely light as well, weighing about 330 grams. My friend has also recommended Mizuno although I had already bought my Asics before looking at them.

I don't like the Nike Multicourt at all... they wear out really really quickly.

Previously, I wore a pair of Head 3000 shoes which wear great for durability, but they were a little heavier than I wanted (over 500 grams).
