View Full Version : Yonex Coolfits are insanely "cool"
versionone_ 07-16-2005, 08:48 PM My cousin recently bought a Coolfit shirt from the Philippines and I swear it looked soo cool! I just love the design and if I ever go to Japan, I'm paying Yonex a visit and give their design team a great big hug! I saw the exact shirt on eBay and was tempted to buy it... But I'll wait till tomorrow morning and come by What's Your Racket or Racquet Central in Calgary to see if they have this in stock.

Arief 07-22-2005, 01:20 AM you guys have to come to Singapore... there are plenty of cool Yonex T shirt here... the price range from S$15 - S$49. if any of you coming to Singapore, just PM me, i'll be glad to help you get Yonex T shirts
cappy75 07-22-2005, 01:49 AM Probably not CoolFit material though. They are 'insanely' expensive:D.

Arief 07-22-2005, 01:56 AM These are some yonex T shirts from my collection. Ants, hope you like it :) btw, these were taken with my camera phone, so the quality is quite poor..
the second one is very cool 50% polyester 50% nylon, the others are cool fit 60% cotton 40% polyester...

In fact the S$49 one (exactly the same one at the 2nd pic posted by Arief) is the "VeryCool" yonex shirt. CoolFit is much cheaper than the VeryCool shirt n much more common here in spore. i also bought a same pattern black VeryCool shirt at the singapore open. :D

ok ok, i got coolfit confused with yonex's verycool trademark.
cappy75 07-22-2005, 05:22 AM Aren't they both of the same concept? Wickering material to rid perspiration from inside the shirt to outside? Coolfit shirts are less stylish than Yonex signature "VeryCool" shirts.

CoolFit shirts are mostly made from cotton. VeryCool shirts are made from nylon or polyester.
khwong 07-22-2005, 12:08 PM arief is the second one still available for sale in s'pore? if yes, how much?
i am looking for a size M. btw, normally how much is most of the verycool shirts and where in s'pore can you get those? Really appreciate your help here!:)

anyone seen this verycool shirt for sale in s'pore and roughly how much?
cooler 07-22-2005, 02:45 PM CoolFit shirts are mostly made from cotton. VeryCool shirts are made from nylon or polyester.
yes, the best kind should be 100% synthetic.
cotton feel good when it's ideal or light duty condition(dry) but not under severe condition.
there are so many trademark names for this technology and variation of them.
verycool
coolfit
dryfit
coolmax
etc
(hopefully not cooler :D )
cappy75 07-22-2005, 04:08 PM Hmm... I hate to quibble with you, but I have yet to come across cotton based CoolFit shirts. Most of them contain polyester in varying percentage. And what's the point of creating a cotton coolfit shirt when sweat is just gonna drench right through:confused:?
CoolFit shirts are mostly made from cotton. VeryCool shirts are made from nylon or polyester.

hey, I went to Sunrise Far East the other day. Unfortunately, those cool t-shirts are ONLY sold during Aviva Singapore Open! and Sunrise don't have any as for now.
According to the shop assistant, the Sunrise boss already has plan to import some from Japan... but as far as i know they haven't imported any yet!
I even left my name card there because they said they will inform me as soon as those cool-t-shirts are coming...
anyway, was a bit lucky i managed to buy 1 t-shirt which usually Taufik wears one.
see it in my blog:

Yup, the one you bought must be the VeryCool shirt which is made from nylon or polyester. Mine is 60% cotton and 40% Polyester. :D I was spending like more than half an hour at that shop :D admiring the so many original Yonex equipment - rackets, shoes, bags and the t-shirts :) I must go there again whenever I have the chance.
