This Ebay seller just release his Nanospeed rackets made in CHINA, I don't know if it's worth for the try to test the new Nano technology. I know I won't get the full 100% performance and durability of the racket but for 26.00 GBP + 20 GBP shipping... what the heck? I would feel not as bad to break a fake one. Let me know guys before I click on ADD TO THE CARD... :p

Maybe you should save your money and gather up until you can buy the real NS 7000 from a retailer. It would be a waste to buy a fake racket, break it and then buy a real one..

Even if it's OEM, you can buy 4 of those and still be under the price of a real one. Also, I don't string my rackets at very high tensions like the pros and I don't break racket easily. In this sense, maybe it's worth it.

However, I tried the real NS7000 today (made in US) and I immediately fell in love with it. Now it's getting hard if I should get a real one or not hehehe and buy a fake just to compare the real diff.

Some of them can be broken within 2 days due to lack of materials inside. (it's hollow inside the tubes, that's why a fake 2U racket is even less weight than 80g). I have seen a fake racket that started to distort (the frame) even when the string tension was only 21 pounds.

So, if you buy 4 of them, and each one of them is only good for a week. Your money will be gone within a month. Are you still thinking it's worth it now?;)

Well, one day my friend was so happy to buy his new Mp100. He only played with it twice and lend it to me so I can test it.

I didnt even have time to look closely if it was a fake or not the racquet broke after I played 15 min with it. The shaft just separated from the cone

After checkign carefully we realized that it was a fake racquet. Mind you it was a very good fake^^

The only way to make it worth is probably to lend your fake racquet to your friends, let them break it and make them repay you full price heheh :p

Why even kid yourself that you are getting a Nano 7000 fake. Be honest with yourself. With all due respect, what you are doing is buying into the image of having the latest looking racquet. The racquet underneath has the same old technology as every other fake out there. The mold has been changed a little to make it look like the Nano 7000, and there's a paint job that covers all its inferiority, but that is all.

Don't kid yourself. You know full well there isn't a drop of nano carbon in this thing. It's plain old graphite and you know it.

I think before you make your purchase, you might benefit from some soul searching as to what you really want. Is it indeed a new racquet? Or just the look and bragging rights of showing up with the new racquet look. Be honest with yourself.

Oh, and the point about the price being cheap and hence it's not a big deal is just a red herring. It's a way to justify your decision. The price isn't the primary issue here.

I think it's good for some of us to get RIP OFF'ed once in a while to learn a very important lesson. There's just no substitute for the real thing.

Maybe it's a small comfort for some players that people would look past their lack of skills on the court and focus on the more important thing: the shiny new racquets in their hands:rolleyes:.

The fakes are coming in and not just in forms of Yonex racquets:(.

i bought a ns7000 from ebay, thankfuly mine was a legit import from thiland, one big giveaway fromt eh pictures are the grommits next to the shaft, the ns7000 has the same muscle power grommits as the mp range, u can clearly see on some pictures they have just standard grommits. haven't had chance to play with it yet, but i'll update on it tomorrow after i give it a bash :)

Why the 2nd one is fake??? From the pic and description, I did not see anything wrong. Plus, I believe he's a fairly reputable ebay seller (in badminton).

yeah the 2nd one is genuine as far as i can see. but the £25 are deffinatly fake, but kudos to the seller, i askeed him if they were genuine and he replied admiting it was fake (but a good one ;))

Dear d3cyph3r,

You asked:
"are these rackets genuine? the photo shows that the racket is missing the muscle power grommits next to the shaft."

The rackets is not genuine, but it is very good .

i won't post who sent me that, but it's always worth asking them first :p

I made an inquiry for the real ns7000. It's gonna be released officially in Canada on March 21st and will cost $225 CAD (including taxes) or $188 USD. Is it a good price?

D3CYPH3R

i paid $147 USD, so i guess thats not a bad price, look about right for a normal retail racket.

just to let u guys know, the ns7000 is a nice racket, i found it a very easy transition from my ti-10 to the ns7000, not quite as powerfull, but i'm sure that will change with time. it has a nice feel of control, would deffinatly reccomend it

But isn't NS 7000 head light and Ti-10 head heavy? Correct me if I'm wrong but i though that that would be the most difficult part of changing rackets:confused:

And may I remind you this thread originally talked about a fake NS7000, which clearly won't have the same balance, weight, or the nanocarbon tube fabric that a real NS7000 has.
