Mizuno 7KV series: fast, comfortable, and good protection. taneepak 02-20-2005, 11:49 PM Mizuno 7KV series: fast, comfortable, and good protection. Shouldn't it be 7KM, M as in badminton, for badminton shoes? The V series, namely 9KV, are volleyball shoes. Ralph Pabelico 02-21-2005, 05:14 PM Thanks for the recommendation. I have searched for the Mizuno 7KM shoes, but all that seems to turn up are volleyball shoes, can some direct me to the site? leehsim 02-22-2005, 06:37 AM Thanks for the recommendation. I have searched for the Mizuno 7KM shoes, but all that seems to turn up are volleyball shoes, can some direct me to the site? The following web site in Japanese is the site where you can browse on Mizuno badminton shoes. ie the 7KM series http://www.mizuno.co.jp/catalog/badminton/ However you can also use some of 9KV series ( Mizuno volleyball shoes) if you can find 7KM series in the sport shops around the area you stay. LazyBuddy 02-22-2005, 11:13 AM I highly recommend u to shop for shoes locally: 1. Different manufactures have differen sizes. I can wear from size 7.5 up to 9.5 even 10, depend on which manufacture, and what type of shoes. I usually settle with 8.5. 2. Even the size fits, u still have a "?" regarding to the width. 3. If have a problem, imagine shipping back to JP, how much it will cost u? 4. Even if fit, shipping from JP or CHN will cost quite a bit. 5. If absolute no local shop, try to shop within US, with a reputable online dealer. At least, in case u need to return / exchange, u don't have to tripple the original price with the shipping and handling charges. Ralph Pabelico 02-22-2005, 05:25 PM I am not yet sure if I have no local stores, but I have not seen any to date. When I go to the courts, I will ask the guys if and where they get their stuff locally. I will probably end up buying from an online US dealer, such as badminton alley or one of the other list of US online stores. Ralph Pabelico 02-22-2005, 05:45 PM Can someone tell me what they thought of the Yonex SHB-50 shoes? Try this one, too. www.nycbadminton.com They are based in New York, and so far, they gave me the best price I could find for badminton shoes. (Yonex SHB98)Thanks, I just emailed them about the Yonex SHB98 shoes. Just curious, How much did you get your pair from them for? LazyBuddy 02-22-2005, 10:01 PM Thanks, I just emailed them about the Yonex SHB98 shoes. Just curious, How much did you get your pair from them for? 1. In order to get quick response, maybe u should consider talk with them on the phone instead. Please don't try with too early of time or too late. :p 2. I am a member of their club, which means I qualify for extra member discount. However, with regular price, i still believe they beat out most of other online dealers. The final price, u need to add S&H on top of it, which it's always true for most of others anyway. Ralph Pabelico 03-03-2005, 05:50 PM I own these tennis shoes and I want to know if they are suitable badminton shoes. This is their description and picture: "Fit: Good fit for medium to medium-wide foot type. The heel, midfoot and arch area are very supportive, with the midfoot area having a slightly narrower fit compared to the rest of the shoe. Features a low, but fairly roomy toe box. Length fits true to size. Out of the box comfort." http://av.warehousesports.com/tw/ProductImages/ABA.JPG Ralph Pabelico 03-22-2005, 08:43 PM Hi, Specifically of Yonex, what are the best(durability, performance, etc.) shoes that they have had? If I have a 8.5-9.5 on a regular shoe with relatively narrow feet, what size do you suggest I should get of Yonex? I would like not only the most recent good shoes but also some recommendations of some of the older ones. Are the Shb-570 a good pair? I understand that they are very light, nice shoes, but I have not heard much about durability. The most recent shoes I have seen are the Shb-99m, how are they if anyone can give a brief review? Please recommend plenty more of Yonex's "best" shoes both new and older. Ralph |
